About

Hello & Welcome,

My name is Rachel & I believe that stress management and inner balance is your greatest asset in the modern world.

Kinesiology’s key objective is to balance stress—whether from the past, present, or future—on both conscious and subconscious levels, allowing you to create from your best energy. It addresses your 'software,' like beliefs, thoughts, emotions, and mental processing, as well as your 'hardware,' including your physiology and nervous system, which can either smooth your path to achieving goals or present obstacles.

While modern life offers exciting opportunities, it also brings unhealthy stress, demands, and high costs, especially when you're navigating change. Kinesiology often uncovers cycles of conflicting changes and learning patterns that can cause even the most resilient nervous systems to misfire, leading to unhelpful processing of information. This is where kinesiology becomes invaluable, especially when life is busy. A fast pace can reduce presence, limiting your ability to integrate, learn, and gain insight. You may even develop unhealthy patterns—like people-pleasing, poor boundaries, burnout, or saying yes to everything—without realising it, starting and keeping you in a survival mode cycle in your perceptions and life.

Kinesiology helps access the subconscious mind, revealing what often lies outside your conscious awareness. Since 80-90% of processing can happen unconsciously, and signals from your body to your brain (bottom-up) often override those from your brain to your body (top-down), this provides a key advantage. Even your most self-aware self can’t always outthink or out-plan a survival state, especially when burnout or overwhelm cloud your vision. You might even convince yourself everything’s fine, while defensiveness, tension, or an overprotective nervous system perpetuate misalignment between your best self and your ideal life. This can show up dramatically or subtly, with burnout, relationship struggles, or health issues creeping in. Kinesiology helps realign the interaction between thoughts, emotions, and behaviour with your physiology, creating balance and the energy needed to move toward your goals, rather than being hyper-focused on fear or uncertainty.

Related to Kinesiology, my qualifications include an Honours in Psychology from Macquarie University, a Diploma of Kinesiology, a Diploma of Mind-Body Medicine, and Advanced Yoga Teacher Training (500 hours). My interests focus on stress, change and transitions, and how they intersect with wellness, relationships, and performance, personally and professionally. Before stepping into Kinesiology, I worked in HR , research (mental health, health and parenting) & project management across higher education, insurance & professional services.

True to the principles of the modality, I integrate science and spirituality in practical, common-sense ways. You will soon discover how Kinesiology can significantly enhance your wellness and positively impact all areas of your life. Head over here to book in your appointment.
